Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
The Humboldt Literacy Project and the Humboldt County Library present Family Literacy Night, featuring juggling storyteller Ross Mackinney, Wednesday, May 15, 6:30 p.m. at the Eureka Main Library. Family Literacy Night is a monthly program that centers family fun around the joy of reading. When performances conclude, each child in attendance receives a new book, free. For details, call Humboldt Literacy Project at (707) 445-3655.
The Humboldt Literacy Project helps people acquire the skills they need to function on the job, in the family, and in the community, and is Humboldt’s only source for free, confidential, one-on-one literacy tutoring for adults.
