The Humboldt Literacy Project and the Humboldt County Library present Family Literacy Night, featuring juggling storyteller Ross Mackinney, Wednesday, May 15, 6:30 p.m. at the Eureka Main Library. Family Literacy Night is a monthly program that centers family fun around the joy of reading. When performances conclude, each child in attendance receives a new book, free. The Humboldt Literacy Project helps people acquire the skills they need to function on the job, in the family, and in the community, and is Humboldt’s only source for free, confidential, one-on-one literacy tutoring for adults.
