This program, presented by Joann Olsen, will help to reacquaint us with our local fungi after so many months of not seeing them. The photographs used in this presentation were taken by Noah Siegel.
Joann Olson, program chair for the Humboldt Bay Mycological Society, has a degree in Biology from Humboldt State University and studied fungi with Dr. David Largent. She is a founding member of the HBMS and teaches mushroom identification courses and leads field trips focused on learning to identify mushrooms.
