Examining the Impact of the Klamath Dams on Tribes, Fisheries, the Environment, and Downstream Stakeholders

Rep. Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) will lead a live-streamed forum at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time on Tuesday, August 18 titled “Examining the Impact of the Klamath Dams on Tribes, Fisheries, the Environment, and Downstream Stakeholders.” The event will focus on four aging dams on the Klamath River owned by PacifiCorp and Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway, which have made millions for PacifiCorp’s shareholders, but to the detriment of native communities and cultures, and those who depend on the river’s fish. The event will be live on Facebook at LINK TK and YouTube at LINK TK. It will be broadcast by Eureka, Califonia’s PBS station KEET.
