Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
The museum will be hosting a Native American basket and related Native American objects evaluation day, led by Coleen Kelley Marks and Bruce Pettit, who will be providing informal appraisals (verbal approximation of value, not formal insurance evaluation) for $15 per item in the Nealis Hall wing of the museum.
At the same time, a rummage sale of museum quality items will be held in the main hall. Items included in the sale are pottery, baskets, and art prints, as well as antique books, toys, tools, utensils, and more.
