The meeting begins with a floral design workshop at 10am, "Bountiful Baskets," with flowers and fall vegetables. Nonie Oliver of Pierson's Garden Center will discuss the selection, planting and care of bulbs and perennials at 11am. She has 20 years experience in the retail nursery industry. We will have a sack lunch at noon,so bring your sandwich. The "Garden Jewels of West Eureka" presentation is at 12pm. Visitors are invited to workshop, program and "Jewels" presentation. Garden Club goals include creating and promoting interest in horticulture, gardening and floral and landscape design and encouraging and engaging in civic beautification.
