The community is invited to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Adorni Center (1011 Waterfront Dr, Eureka, CA 95501) at noon. This year’s theme is, “Strength in Our Community: Past, Present and Future”. The event, sponsored by the Eureka Branch of The NAACP in collaboration with The City of Eureka, will feature musical performances; a ceremony honoring past Eureka NAACP leaders; and more. The event will conclude with cake commemorating and celebrating what would have been Dr. King's 90th birthday.
