There's no situation so bad that the California Department of Health can't make it much, much worse. What was the OB doc supposed to do, let the baby die? It was a no win situation. We can't recruit doctors into our community because it's miserable trying to survive in a rural community like ours. And when we do find a physician, or nurse or laboratory scientist or other health care provider who wants to join our community, then guess what? It takes the California Department of Health up to SIX FREAKIN' MONTHS to complete their licensing process!!!! Welcome to the Left Wing Progressive dystopia that is California!
