Does anyone else find it ironic that the theft of property worth less than $950 was made a misdemeanor and now Chief Mills wants to criminalize the victims of said theft? Why is it that law abiding citizens are burdened with more and more but criminals are being held less and less responsible? When was the last time you heard of anyone sentenced to an extra 5 years for use of a firearm in the commission of a crime? It's the first thing plea bargained away.
