December Looming

solstice moves more swiftly each year

(didn't I just make a turkey)

sweet potato bourbon pie

darkness brings solace

(sunshine can be such a pressure

must do something outdoors, something really big)

I wish I was a bear

nuzzle my young in deep mammalian dreams

warm fur den of coverlets

goose down

canned summer peaches easy to reach over the sink

sleep eat a few sets of sit-ups, a brisk walk sleep eat
