Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Join CRGS for a 2-hour event to celebrate the release of CouRaGeous Cuentos: A Student Journal of Counternarratives, Volume 4! We will celebrate with live DJ music, open-mic readings, and free giveaways! CouRaGeouS Cuentos is a library-based publishing journal and includes the creative writing of students in classes offered by the Department of Critical Race, Gender & Sexuality Studies. The works published in the journal this year are by students in the Ethnic Studies 107: Chican@/Latin@ Lives class, and by local Fortuna High School Students who worked with the Promotorx Transformative Educators Program led by Dr. Marisol Ruiz.
