Almost 20 years have passed since Julia Butterfly Hill’s tree-sit brought worldwide attention to a Redwood named Luna. Shortly after her descent, a vandal’s chainsaw failed to bring an end to Luna. Instead, the attack brought Luna back into the news. Today, Luna remains healthy, her message about sustainability is stronger than ever, and the world continues telling her story.
