Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

The City of Eureka is initiating a new project to engage residents and local businesses in re-envisioning H and I Streets and potentially adjacent north-south routes to improve safety for all users and foster vibrant neighborhoods and business districts. The City of Eureka would like your input to improve safety for walking, biking and driving through this area at a Kick-Off Community Workshop. After a short presentation and open house to review project goals, small groups will help engineers and City staff understand the existing challenges, and suggest potential improvements to enhance safety for all who travel these roadways.
