Join Redwood Region Audubon Society on a field trip to visit snowy plovers at their wintering location at Little River State Beach just before they start nesting! Alexa DeJoannis, Snowy Plover biologist and Humboldt State University wildlife graduate student, will lead this half day trip. Bring a spotting scope if you have one. Meet at the Clam Beach North parking lot one mile north of the N. Central Ave exit on Hwy 101. Participants will walk less than a kilometer north. Heavy rain or wind cancels.
