Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
Join a local climate adaptation scientist, environmental interpretive specialist and Northcoast Regional Land Trust supporters on a guided interpretive paddle in kayaks through Humboldt Bay & Freshwater Slough. Learn about the impacts of sea level rise to our local agricultural lands, critical infrastructure, and habitat. These five-mile paddles require sustained movement. All boats and gear provided.
Dress warmly, bring water and a snack. Everyone welcome – families encouraged.
