Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
The Eureka High School Players present the musical comedy Bye Bye Birdie. Rockstar Conrad Birdie is going into the Army, and his manager, Albert Peterson, arranges a big send off for him: he will kiss one of his biggest fans, Kim MacAfee, on the Ed Sullivan Show, before he leaves. Not only will Albert have to deal with his secretary, screaming teenage girls, and upset parents, he will have to put up with his own mother who does not want him to dissolve his music managing company.
