Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Humboldt Botanical Garden’s butterfly house is a pilot project that began in May of 2017. Currently open for it’s second season, The Butterfly House occupies the northwest quadrant of the Sun Valley Floral Farms Greenhouse. Landscaped with water feature, stone walkway and butterfly friendly plants, the habitat currently houses varying stages of Monarchs, Western Swallowtails, Painted Lady and Red Admiral butterfly. This presentation on the butterfly house will emphasize making a home garden butterfly friendly with food, water and shelter. FREE for members & children 10 and under • General Garden admission for non-members.
