Hosted by the Cocking family, this hike on their property in the King Range will be a walking tour that focuses on key components of prescribed fire planning, ecological benefits of fire, using prescribed fire to enhance defensible space, and fire as a part of grassland restoration. Bring lunch and water, dress in layers.
