Seems to me that the identity behind that mystery LLC might be established by a property records search of the small house/land that's a small part of the reported deal. Who held title to the property?

It would be great if you could include in the description of each clinic whether walk-ins are acceptable (or at least some contact info to ask such questions). As things stand, I've had to go through the MyTurn portal as if I was making an appointment (and answering the dozen or so questions) just to find out that I won't need an appointment for Friday's clinic at the Wharfinger Building.

Like any predator/prey interaction it's always a a pendulum swing. And one should consider what legal mechanisms are available to help the victim in case of loss.

Not sure what happened to the print edition of your crossword puzzle this week, but the grid is different from what the .pdf shows, and the clues don't match the grid at all.
