COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
The Briceland Fire Protection District will host a public meeting July 7 at 5:30 pm at the Beginning Octagon to answer district residents’ questions regarding the fire protection parcel tax. Due to rising costs, the District proposes to increase the parcel tax by approximately 3.8% in FY 2021-2022, from $87.80 to $91.14. That estimate is based on the rate of inflation at the end of the third quarter of FY 2020-21, and will be finalized at the end of the fourth quarter on July 1, 2021. The parcel tax was approved by more than 85% of district voters in 08/2012
