Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
The Chetco Pelican Players present Dracula, a retelling of the classic tale like you’ve never seen it before. Based on the novel by Bram Stoker, this production tells the story of Count Dracula, a powerful and embittered vampire whose unquenchable thirst casts a shadow of terror and destruction upon all those who stand in his way. This is more than a story about vampires; it is a tale of obsession, redemption, and the struggle between good and evil.
Dracula is directed by BJ Farris, and adapted for the stage by local playwright, Jayden Cornett. Featuring new and seasoned actors, dynamic action and special effects, and gripping drama, “Dracula” opens September 24th and runs through October 10th.
