Re: “Fugitive's Daughter Left in Fortuna

Let’s look at this closely Ryan. The suspect, Robert Webb, pulls an armed robbery with his 9-year-old daughter in tow. The daughter, by all reasonable appearances, is in grave danger as her father points a gun at a store clerk. A day and a half later he drops his child off at an acquaintance’s place in Fortuna while he “runs some errands.” The police are called after receiving a report of a possible kidnapping (presumably the report came form the acquaintance who knew the family?). The Fortuna Police arrive and take the little girl into protective custody.

The friend of Webb (in Fortuna) has a son-in-law who happens to be a cop. And through all of this you are hell-bent on trying raise questions about a connection to a Sheriff’s Deputy? Through this entire sad story, THAT’S question you want to ask? Seriously?

Yes Ryan, clearly there is a serious cover-up here. Because cops routinely hang out with armed robbers and kidnappers. Forget the real story Ryan, look for the ridiculous. That’s what the Northcoast Journal teaches you Ryan.
