Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Birds of the Sierra Nevada

When: Fri., Jan. 10, 7:30 p.m. 2014
Email: rras@rras.org
Price: Free
Join Redwood Region Audubon Society to follow speaker Ed Pandolfino on a virtual transect of the range, starting from the oak and conifer forests of the west side, into the majestic alpine regions, and down the steep eastern slope into the pinyon/juniper woodlands and Great Basin. Audience members will both view and hear the stunning diversity of birds that live in the Sierra Nevada. Pandolfino will speak about which species are declining and how birders can help. Bring a mug for shade-grown coffee and come fragrance-free.
