Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

‘A walk through a temperate woodland garden’ Join us on Saturday, February 25th at the Humboldt Botanical Gardens (just south of College of the Redwoods campus) from 10:00am to Noon to learn about a temperate woodland garden; specifically, the beautiful Moss Family Temperate Woodland Garden, as presented by Curators Tim and June Walsh. Their extensive knowledge and experience in this garden will give you a chance to learn about the unique growing climate in Humboldt that favors such plants as rhododendrons and azaleas. They will lead a tour and happily answer questions along the way. Recommeded for all plant lovers.
