Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Join Redwood Region Audubon Society for a birding walk at the Southern Humboldt Community Park in Garberville. The walk begins in Tooby Park with leader Jude Power. Take Sprowl Creek Road for one mile out of Garberville and past the park entryway (McKee Lane) Tooby parking lot is on the right. If late, walk towards the barn. Leaders generally have some extra binoculars and coffee is usually provided. No dogs, please. Porta-potty is available on the trail. Heavy rain cancels.
