Bird of the Inner Eye

An original chamber opera by composer Gina Leishman and librettist Joan Schirle, presented by Dell'Arte International in partnership with the Arcata Playhouse. Based on the letters of painter Morris Graves, this new work features local singers David Belton Powell, Alex Blouin and pianist Nancy Correll, as well as international guests. The opera focuses on Graves' years as a war resister, a defender of nature, and the women who supported his vision. Tickets at www.dellarte.com.
