Bird Conservation in Equatorial Guinea

Discovery of oil there has turned one of the world’s poorest nations into the richest country (per capita) in Africa. Its rapid development has put bird species at risk of being lost before they’re even discovered. Ornithologists have now partnered with the government to document these sensitive bird populations.
