Re: “'Encouraged to Leave'

If you look at the University as a profit-based entity, it is clear.
Cal Poly can "grow their brand", touting Native Indigenous chops, knowing Risling Baldy will stay, (since it IS her home) without matching the competition with a similar bid.
It's just business...as usual.

Re: “There May Be Scromiting

Thadeus Greenson, you can do better. Look up the study from Australia. Talk to ER personnel who see this syndrome. Ask what their best guess is about what is going on.
"Some on the pro-cannabis side of things have also questioned whether all this scromiting could stem from people smoking marijuana tainted with pesticides or some kind of mold."
Oh really?
Based on what, exactly?
If I question whether scromiting is from Chemtrails or Mercury in retrograde, are those speculations treated with equal value?
Doctors are trained to observe human bodies.
They have observed enough of this particular reaction to give it a name as a syndrome.
They will tell you a syndrome is something they have observed in patients, that they are not sure of the exact mechanism, that requires further study, and they have some idea.
NOT just any idea!
I trust a trained professional observer, such as a Doctor, Nurse, or PA, and their published reports of those observations.
Speculation by others is not equivalent to repeated medical observations.
I urge you to stick to the known facts. It happens.

Re: “Homeowners Allege Firefighters in Saddle Fire Endangered Lives, Property

There is more than 100' of defensible spaces around their house, and is a big factor in it's survival in this fire.
Hard work and preparation have far more to do with that than luck.
You can't tell that from the photos.
