Architect Julia Morgan designed more than 700 buildings in California, most notably the Hearst Castle. She designed Redwood Grove in 1926 for San Francisco hotelier Margaret Stewart, who had just become the first president of the newly-formed Benbow Hotel Company. Helen Benbow oversaw the construction of this stunning Tudor Revival home.
It has been lovingly restored by Allison Huegel and James Sergi. They are offering a rare tour of the gardens and estate, which includes organic orchards and gardens, serene river views, and ancient redwood groves.
