Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Drawing on the work of decolonial and feminist thinkers Sylvia Wynter and Donna Haraway, this workshop explores Western and colonial knowledge systems and uncovers the some of the links between racial, gendered and sexual belonging. Making kin with academia offers differential ways of knowing and imagination, and examines the overarching governing codes that have created, maintained, and normalized practices of exclusion. Facilitated by Rouhollah Aghasaleh, Humboldt State University, School of Education
