Backpacks for Kids Fundraiser

Hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Eureka and Old Town, Soroptimist International of Humboldt Bay and Food for People. We’ll enjoy a BBQ dinner by Blackberry Bramble, dancing to the local and ever-popular Doug Fir and the 2x4s, live and silent auctions filled with top-quality items, a wine pull, and a no-host bar featuring local wines and brews. The 2015 Backpacks Rhody Roundup BBQ & Dance will raise money for Backpacks for Kids, a weekend nutrition program for income-eligible children in Humboldt County. Each child in the program receives a backpack filled with nutritious kid-friendly food each weekend during the school year.
