Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
In this good-time musical happening, the Sons of Rainier will be serenading lucky concert goers with their lovely roots rock, along with a performance from April's resident artist, Philip Deniz K, presenting new work from a forthcoming album and drawing series. Devin Champlin, songwriter behind the Sons, played the Sanctuary last year with the stomping jug band Crow Quill Night Owls. In addition, longtime Arcata music fans will likely know a thing or two about Philip's old project, thelittlestillnotbigenough.
