Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Anti-Prom Masquerade Ball

When: Fri., May 17, 8 p.m. 2013
Price: $5
Apprentice Entertainment presents the Anti-Prom Masquerade Ball featuring live music from local bands: The Echidnas and UFO8, and DJs Z-Money & C-Loco.

The Anti-Prom has a great reputation of being a fun and popular event for students who are interested in an alternative to their high school prom. Entry is $5 and masks will be available for sale at the Playhouse but you’re encouraged to bring your own.

The Echidnas are a new Indie band of students from the Arcata Arts Institute. As their second appearance at the Playhouse, the Echidnas provide their own spin on classic Indie tunes.

DJ's Z-Money & C-Loco are a girl DJ duo, making their debut at the Arcata Playhouse; dropping fat beats and providing a cool and groovy dance scene.

Local band, UFO8 is excited for their next gig at the Arcata Playhouse. This alternative rock trio has been playing together around Humboldt County for almost a year, providing the newest in heavy/indie/surfer/reggae/rock, and everything in between.

Show your support for local youth music at the Playhouse by attending the Anti-Prom Masquerade Ball on Friday, May 17.

This event is presented by Apprentice Entertainment, a non-profit teen organization at the Arcata Playhouse that produces, promotes and participates in the arts to build better youth community engagement.
