Early jazz, country blues, gypsy music — all of these early influences still percolate within Andrew Bird's brand of indie-pop, but he has established a sound that is distinctly his own. He has performed at such prestigious venues as New York's Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Coachella and Austin City Limits festivals.
