Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
During the first Arts Alive! since July, The Blueberry Hill Boogie Band will grace the Morris Graves Museum of Art with their unique sounds on Saturday November 6th, from 6:00-9:00pm! The Blueberry Hill Boogie Band is a good times rock & roll group, blending jukebox standards and radio classics with originals written by singer/guitarist Daniel Nickerson. Using just bass, drums, and guitar, the group plays movement music, stretching out songs with extended grooves and improvisations influenced equally by jazz, punk rock, and the radio hits always on the airwaves. The project is a tribute to the founders and innovators of American music, using the songs and styles of great artists from the past as a starting point for creating new songs and sounds. The band features Daniel Nickerson, guitar & vocals, Cyrus Smith, electric bass, and Alex Montes de Oca, drums.
