Active Shooter Presentation

The Eureka Police Department will be offering our Active Shooter Presentation to the public on June 21, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sequoia Conference Center, 901 Myrtle Ave. See attached flyer. This presentation is led by EPD Captain Brian Stephens and Senior Dispatcher and Executive Assistant to the Chief, Katie Hill. They will provide helpful information and get you thinking about how to respond if you are ever in an active shooter situation. The concept of Run, Hide, Fight will be explained in detail. The presentation is open to the public but is aimed toward college bound, middle school, and high school students, their parents, teachers, administrators, and staff. Free to attend and reservations are not necessary. This event is co-sponsored by the Humboldt County Office of Education.
