If the Congressman and his predecessor would be less fanatical regarding their opposition to everything the President would like to accomplish, then maybe California would fare better when it comes to the federal government. But we know Jared is not going to play ball, no matter what, so he will allow California to just slip into the abyss along with his constituents and nothing gets done in Washinton.
Re: “The Silent Compromise”
Your job Thadeus, is to whip up interest, where there is none, in whatever story you are reporting on. Otherwise, the story just pretty much dies on the vine. I do believe that the lack of interest on this subject is the public's support of their District Attorney to do the right thing. Coupled with the complete immersion from the press of any and all officer involved incidents and you have a population which is just trying to get through the day, especially that population in California. Allow those people who deal with this subject the most to come up with a policy and then tweak it if necessary.
