Perhaps Humboldt County should determine WHY they have "We have the highest rate of addiction, the highest rate of death by firearm, the highest suicide rate in California", and try to find answers within our county, rather than simply requesting help.

Fortuna can't pay their excellent police force what they are worth, but STILL refuses to allow cannabis dispensaries within city limits. "Cannabis Business Tax (5-15%)
Local governments (city or county) also have the ability to tax cannabis sales at their discretion. These local cannabis business tax rates can range anywhere between five and 15 percent and are charged at the point-of-sale on top of the products selling price. The funds typically go toward local services.

Do the earth a favor. Stop complaining and bring your own container to be filled. There is so little interesting food in Fortuna, that it might be good to encourage these folks.

Save yourself some time. I was just there, looking for a vintage/antique table. The prices for anything interesting were laughable! They were actually selling those sort of "captain's chairs", well used, for 100.00 each. I would have paid $25.00 tops, if in fact, I would even have these in my home.
