With so many claim that Tommy McClain was reaching for a gun, with all the claims that the McClain family was happy with the outcome. I don't understand why the truth was withheld from the public. Everybody wants to make up there mind about a sitituation and have no idea what the truth really is. Tommy McClain lost his life for no reason. Can anybody put themselves in the same place in time, go out with family to celebrate a birthday, have one of the best times of your life, not knowing death is waiting for you rite around the corner. By the same people who swore to keep you safe. To top it all off, the cover-UPS made over and over again. Then to sit and read all the comment about my son, some good but most bad by all you people of Eureka, ca. While I sit and read all of you just bash my sons character and who he was. Now later on down the road a few years later, alot of the truth comes out and you find out how wrong you were. Shame on you, all of you. Tommy was a good person even now that he is gone, I can hear him forgiving the ones who ran his name throu the mud, that's the person he was. He was big hearted, kind, and helped out any way that he could.
