When I was a kid, I was told the story about Charlie that his boss stood off the posse that came for Charlie with a rifle and had words with them, throwing them off the ranch. I had a classmate in school (50s and 60s, Eureka) named Debbie Moon. I always assumed she was a descendant.
I'm so glad Charlie is being honored.
