You may call it "Silly season" we here in the real world call it a cheap political hit job by the Yokelocracy.
How convenient that an unelected, anonymous body is allowed to interfere so blatantly and directly in a public election of such import.

Further, Paz Dominguez said she'd learned of the department giving employees gift cards as "an advance on travel," while the sheriff's office had deposited cash into accounts from "sources unknown" and made payments "for a donated vehicle," while a previously disposed vehicle had "resurfaced for sale."
This is all grounds for a federal RICO case. All of these agencies need to be audited.

I believe that the local yokelocracy has had its fingers deep in the public till, and Karen is being set-up as a scapegoat. This whole thing resembles nothing so much as a high-school clique attempting to maintain its dominance of 'the campus.'
This corrupt little county needs a good dose of sunlight and a thorough cleaning.

Bring on the food chain restaurants! The more competition we have here, the less the local yokelocracy is able to gouge us for the price of a burger, shake and fries! The business community has had it far too good for far too long, and it's time for a reckoning!
