theo,
I don't believe that mister was making a connection to anything. I think you read a bit too far into what was said, which was that it is a possibility that maybe the houses that they are targeting are part of a larger operation, and that's all. It doesn't sound like it was directed at anything having to do with civil rights or any other political issues what so ever. Where you think that he was trying to make any kind of connection puzzles me.
It might help if you step off your soap box once in a while and try to remember that not everything you hear or read has a political tone or theme to it.
Also, since you seem to have such a vast knowledge of how the pot industry works versus anyone else who blogs here, why don't you share your knowledge with the rest of us. Who knows, maybe if you can teach those of us who are so vastly more un-educated then you about such things, the world would be a more perfect place for all of us.
Re: “LA Times Story”
I hear what you are saying. And who knows, you may be right about the bust so far being only small independent grow operations.
However, just as with mister's statement, unless you have some way of verifying for sure that what you say is indeed true and factual, then aren't you also speculating about it just as he did?
One thing that I think we all do know sure is that in order to protect the integrity of their "investigation", the Fed's are not going to give anyone the full complete truth about what they're up to, even after it's all over.
