I attended the vigil. I think it's unfortunate that the face of Occupy Eureka became a homeless drunk pissing on the sidewalk, because it hid the true nature of the protest and played into the establishment's attempts to turn back the suring dismay and disgust of the 99%. Hopefully, as we go along, we will find ever bigger and better opportunities to push back against the forces driving us toward an age of neo-barbarism.
