If you hadn't done so, many would not have known it was an item on the City Council agenda Tuesday, prepared by the 'Humboldt Bay Harbor Working Group,' or where we're currently at on the issue. I welcome hearing the different opinions across the board-- or across the third rail, as it may shape up to become.

Good article presenting current information on an interesting subject. I'm still waiting-- and hoping-- to hear that the proposal will be industry-driven, based factually on pragmatic evidence other than anecdote, and that private companies and investors alike are lining up at the gate for a great opportunity to invest.

It was very thoughtful and gracious of Mr. Shyamalan to have given his time so freely and graciously to the students before having dinner with his family, especially given that he's an important, busy, and probably one very tired guy who's been shouldering heavy work and responsibility over the past several weeks, if not months.
