I worked at Blue Ox as a millwright, truck driver and general hand in 1979-80. That was also the time in which my father was dying of cancer, and Eric and Viviana were both employers and Mom & Dad to me. Eric's poetry about what he and his comrades went through in Vietnam was deeply moving to me, and their work with Veterans is a national treasure. I look forward to seeing The Veterans' Monologues Project when it comes to town. Bob Olofson, Eureka, CA.
