I'm curious - you note, "... cannabis extraction business on the site, which many feared would expose the river to dangerous chemicals." Is the fear that the extraction process itself would expose the river to the chemicals or just the Industrial classification and potential of general industry to do so? Would seem to me a gravel plant would generate far more contaminants from runoff water than a controlled extract plant operation.
