If the KFC has a lunch buffet, I'll be there several times a month. Otherwise, maybe once a month. If they build a KFC with an A&W, it will be a favorite spot to be a regular! There are a lot of seniors in Eureka who loved having the KFC lunch buffet locally. One wonders when construction will begin, and what the projected opening date might be. Prices are a sensitive thing these days. Everywhere restaurants think there is no limit to how much people will pay. Eureka is well below the national income. Too much emphasis on high prices tends to drive restaurants out of business. The $6 restaurant burger is now $10 at Denny's. At Carl's Jr, the Great American Burger is 2 for $6 (or $7 -- depending) with a coupon! Amen! Thank you Carl's Jr! I love you guys!

The closest to this that I can relate would actually be a similar type of meal served in a "Brasserie" type of restaurant, most likely in Paris or other busy cities.

To the people posting about the decline in the quality/service I suspect you experienced the downward spiral - as places lose more money then of course the quality will go down, as will morale and service. It sucks.
