Re: “Sauvignon Blanc: Perfect for Summer

With the shrinking of the cannabis economy, diversifying Humboldt's economic base is of utmost importance all us living here. Thank you for highlighting another piece of our local economy that most people don't realize we have. But, it seems to me this article missed an opportunity to help support local agriculture by failing to mention award wining Sauvignon Blancs made from Humboldt County Grown grapes. Not to mention the tradition that what grows together goes together and we also have home grown Oyster that pair perfectly with Humboldt County Grown Sauvignon Blanc. If you are interested in supporting local agriculture here in Humboldt please see "A Grape Idea" published in this magazine archived here…

Re: “Trucking from Fortuna

Do the earth a favor. Stop complaining and bring your own container to be filled. There is so little interesting food in Fortuna, that it might be good to encourage these folks.

Have you ever heard about these foods infused cannabis? I tried frozen yogurt infused cannabis before and it really tastes good! and now, there's new and something interesting! On the other hand, Ingesting Cannabis has a side effect that can lead you addiction because of its high dosage that you'll never know how much dosage that food has. By continually do researching, I came across in this article about strains

Re: “The Colonel Comes Back to Eureka

If the KFC has a lunch buffet, I'll be there several times a month. Otherwise, maybe once a month. If they build a KFC with an A&W, it will be a favorite spot to be a regular! There are a lot of seniors in Eureka who loved having the KFC lunch buffet locally. One wonders when construction will begin, and what the projected opening date might be. Prices are a sensitive thing these days. Everywhere restaurants think there is no limit to how much people will pay. Eureka is well below the national income. Too much emphasis on high prices tends to drive restaurants out of business. The $6 restaurant burger is now $10 at Denny's. At Carl's Jr, the Great American Burger is 2 for $6 (or $7 -- depending) with a coupon! Amen! Thank you Carl's Jr! I love you guys!

Re: “How French is the Dip?

The closest to this that I can relate would actually be a similar type of meal served in a "Brasserie" type of restaurant, most likely in Paris or other busy cities.

Re: “Together for a New Year Feast

I love this recipe! Just tried it out yesterday for an early Lunar New Years dinner and my family loved it! It tastes just like the traditional rice ball soup that my grandma used to make. Thanks Wendy!
