Re: “Boom

Richard Pryor wrote Blazing Saddles with Mel Brooks it's got Pryor's humor, insight and irreverence all over it. See our previously declared love of this classic here, cowboy: https://www.northcoastjournal.com/AEBlog/a…

Re: “From Kiln Shed to Skate Park

Brad Hooper is my son. He owns Humboldt Skate Lab, along with Chad. This has been a dream of his since he was a kid. I am beyond proud of him and his shop. Eureka needed a skate shop where you can buy everything you need, and build your own, right there.
Brad always has something new going on. Sponsoring a skate team, bake sales, fundraisers, and skate competitions, and much more. Arts Alive night he always has something going on at the shop.
Brad has a heart of gold, and bigger than Alaska (that's bigger than Texas)!
I love you, Brad....and 'Keep On Rollin'!

Re: “Best of the Oyster Fest

Wishin Everetts had a chance! I ate all types and felt that the dill sauce was perfectly paired with the oyster. All the rest of the competition disguised the oyster and one or two was only half cooked in other places. I went back to EVeretts 3 times and was thrilled each time, at the consistemcy amd yummy oyster in butter and dill sauce. Thx, Carol Barbour, Judsonia, AR

Re: “Who Run the World?

The title is a line from Beyonce's "Run the World (Girls)," in which she asks, "Who run the world?/ Girls." You can enjoy it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBmMU_iwe6…

Re: “Who Run the World?

I'm not getting the title of the review. Does it just need proofing?

What is Eureka doing with a million dollar a year certified zoo while Eureka's youth unemployment is twice the state average and homelessness is out of control? 1,000 homeless HSU students?

Re: “Points of Egress

Thank you Gabrielle. What a nice surprise and a wonderful review of the art at the airport. It's been an amazing gallery for the last few years thanks to the REA.

Re: “Graham Nash

I still have three Hollies 45s at home. Clearly I am both old and unable to let go of my youth.
