Re: “The Fuzion

This place does not accurately advertise. They promoted $2 taco Tuesday on Facebook, so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. When we got there at opening (9:00pm), they told us that the chef was not there and we would have to wait for them to get there and start cooking before we could order tacos. They then told us there was an entrance fee of $12 per person (which was to be separate from the price of any drinks or food you ordered). The gentleman also told us that if we sent a text to a certain number, they would review us to see if we could become members, which could take up to three days, so that we might only have to pay an $8 per-person fee for all future dates except special events, where cover fee might be above $8 but still less than the regular entrance fees. I find it incredibly unprofessional that they were not prepared to serve food at the time they had stated, and when they had opened. I also find it incredibly weird that you sign up for membership via text, and that you have to be reviewed firsthand possibly taking up to three days? I also find it unprofessional that they did not accurately advertise, neglecting to mention any cover fees in their adds. We did not wish to pay $24 just to have access to ordering only tacos (which were not available to order yet anyway) and drinks which would all cost more on top of that. For that amount I would rather go to a more professional restaurant or bar with variety. Unfortunately, we will not be going back there, and we will continue advising our friends not to waste their time as well.
