Re: “Bike to Work Day Rally

Sorry guys, this showed up in the email from North Coast Journal, Thursday the 18th, at 330pm...if your turnout wasn't as you'd hoped, that's quite possibly why.

Re: “Amy Goodman

Very disappointed, while it is all well and good that, no one turned away for lack of funds, was offered, the fact is that we were turned away for, SOLD OUT. We arrived 40 minutes early, for the event, coming from Crescent City. The web site does not list advance sale tickets and I find it hard to grasp that Eureka doesnt possess a venue large enough to contain an, Amy Goodman, audience. It would seem that the promoters did not do their, Due Diligence, in considering the required audience capacity for the event. It is heartening to know that in the current, Days of Trump, that a voice of sanity and reason may still be heard. It is just a shame that we couldnt find a place big enough for everyone to be able to hear the message.

Re: “Women's March on Eureka

Hi! Thanks for the plug! This is the wrong poster! The event takes place at the C Street Market Square, as listed, not the Labor Temple, which was the previous listing. Thank you!

We at TRUEntertainment are bringing inspiring films and arts, film festivals, International Day of Peace events, to our community; events that include sharing a meal, and discussion after the films on things that matter and how we can best apply presented ideas, goals, and projects to our own community.

People that attend our events say: 'we want movies like this all the time!' AND 'we want to come together and talk about these movies, not just see a movie and go home..' AND 'this is terrific!' AND 'I love it' AND 'More people need to hear about this..' etc. etc.

True entertainments vision is to provide deep, engaging, uplifting, and inspiring community building events!
Come be a part of the change we want to see!

Re: “Hardly Deadly

Hardly deadly's Bio: from http://hardlydeadly.net

Hardly Deadly is the Grateful Dead tribute show thats turning heads! Formed in 2013 by bassist Wristband Scott, keyboardist Joe Bulum, and guitarist and vocalist Dan Murphy, joined by drummer Greg Skelton in 2014, and eventually joined in 2016 by guitarist Kyle Hoffman, and drummer Cody Walker, the band has hosted numerous talented members and guests, seen thousands of road miles, packed clubs, played to crowds of hundreds, even thousands, and continues to love the dream. The bands funky rocking sound is a well appreciated vehicle for delivering the musical sound and feel that brings deadheads to gather and celebrate.

Noteworthy nuggets:

In just a few short years, Hardly Deadly has played nearly a hundred shows, covering much of the Grateful Deads early 70s catalog, and always expanding the playlist. The band has earned repeat invitations to festivals like the Berkeley Shakedown Street Festival, and Southern Humboldts Golden Tarp Awards. Hardly Deadly has shared the stage with great acts and players like A Bears Choice, Midnight North, Achilles Wheel, The Eleven, the Little Fuller Band, Stu Allen, Cryptical, Sunshine Becker, Koala Tea, the Dead Winter Carpenters, and more.

Heres what people are saying about Hardly Deadly

There is an authentic music community in Stockton.
Thats part of whats motivating the six guys in Hardly Deadly, a Stockton group inspired by the communal ethic and seemingly timeless musical attributes of the Grateful Dead.
Tony Sauro, Stockton Record, March 12, 2015

Grateful Dead tribute band, Hardly Deadly, famous for incorporating their own elements of blues, jazz, country and folk music, will be performing at the [Berkeley Shakedown Street] festival this September.
-Staff Writer, Live Music News & Review, August 2016

Must be getting early? Are all the clocks running late? Because Im hearing a grooving sound that is similar to the Grateful Dead, but it kinda sounds Hardly Deadly! Hardly Deadly closed out the night with some of the greatest classic Grateful Dead songs the world has ever known. They got everyone that remained in the park to come up to the stage, dance and be merry while they closed out the evening and event with their own unique and awesome dead head sound. You can tell these guys genuinely enjoy music and just jamming out till you cant jam out no more! These guys were a great finishing act for an amazing evening in the park in Berkeley CA.
