Re: “Honoring Humboldt's Knight of Musicality

Great piece about this show honoring Timmy Gray. Come see one of the last two performances this weekend! One correction: Barking Dogma was a cool band that Tim was in during the mid-to-late 90's. The studio where Gray has worked for many years is called Big Bang.

Re: “In Transition

Oh, never mind, there are only about 9 tickets left, for the whole show! I guess you missed it!

Re: “In Transition

Seriously? Not even a full sentence about Frendale Rep? They have been supplying great entertainment for years, and you give them less than a full sentence? Mamma Mia is great, you should go watch it!

Re: “The Aftermath of Wars

LOL Censorship abounds. Can't speak truth to power or call unwanted attention to the continual efforts to push the ideology of the Eternal Star Spangled Victim.

Nevermind the 3 million dead in Vietnam, the 1 million dead in Iraq - the *true* victims are the Star Spangled Victims whose efforts made these deaths possible.

Re: “Not in Kansas

My wife and I loved the HLOC's production of the Wizard of Oz.

The Munchkins were mostly played by kids who were very talented and adorable. This was one of their productions where every actor was spot on. The only thing about Glenda the good witch and the flying monkeys is that I kept holding my breath till they safely got down.

Very good show.

Re: “Not in Kansas

Almost a complete review. Would love to hear your thoughts on the music and musicians. Did they enhance or detract from the play? On the technical side occasionally the actor's mics were under performing when singing with or without music. Otherwise, I thought the music and musicians were great and rounded out a very successful performance.

Re: “A Microcosm of Life on Avenue Q

Nichole Riffenburgh, most recently seen as Mary Poppins and Morticia in The Addams Family? Not in Humboldt County, can you please clarify where? Thanks!

Re: “Alternative Farce

Thank you so much for the kind words about the show and my costume design. I would be remiss if I didn't share the accolade with the costume shop manager at NCRT, Megan Hughes. She did 99% of the patterning and construction and I couldn't have done it without her. Thank you again! - Rae Robison

Re: “Rocky of Ages

Everyone should go see this play.
Seeing the stage production in LA decades and decades ago changed my life in several ways.

Just returned from Portland, OR where the Clinton Theater has the longest continuous showing of Rocky Horror in the entire USA.
That's a helluva long time.

Re: “Life's a Tango

Never worked with Gary, but have seen some of his work. I have worked with Marilyn several times.

What amazing actors.

I am not surprised with a gifted director in Patrick Spike and two wonderful actors that this didn't receive this wonderful review.

I certainly miss being on stage in Ferndale.....what a wonderful venue.
